Update @ 2 p.m. – Google reports that the backlog of messages has been processed an all services are expected to be operating normally. If you are still experience issues, please contact the UMS:IT Help Desk.
Update @ 12:40 p.m. – Google reports email delivery is no longer failing. However, they are now working through the backlog of undelivered messages and expect all messages to be delivered in the next few hours.
We have received several reports of delays sending and receiving emails from external locations.
Google recently acknowledged the issue on their Service Status Dashboard.
